How to make meringues

It’s dessert week! You know by now that I am a sucker when it comes to them. Meringues are these little airy and sweet balls  that can be shaped in so many ways. It’s basically egg white and sugar.

Yes! You heard me right. What I like about making them is that I can control the sugar intake. I chose to put very little granulated sugar and I prefer complimenting them with natural fruits from fruits. You can use them as part of decoration of a cake, mousse or just eat them as is. They are very easy to make. The only thing that you have to watch for is your oven and really understand how it heats up. I have learned through trials and errors that my oven gets warmer than the temperature indicated!

So, please use other thermometer to check your oven temperature.

Other than that, it’s easy peasy lemon squeezy!
