Hi everyone!
I am so excited today because we are finally baking!!! I have always found baking fascinating and very therapeutic! To me, it is similar to a science experiment that you do in your kitchen. Only difference is at the end you get delicious food! Baking is fun!
I chose a very easy lemon and chocolate cake to start. The lemon cake is a very simple pound cake. I thought that we’d get to trickier cakes as times goes on so we don’t get too overwhelmed. That being said, these cakes are good choices for an easy dessert with the family or dinner parties. Plus, they don’t require many ingredients. You already have most of them in your pantry. You can always top them off with fruits, whipping cream or ice cream. So instead of buying cake for every occasion, you can make one where you can actually control the amount of sugar or butter used. That was one of the main reason that I started to learn how make desserts. I hope I was able to convince you to start baking.
Big warning though…Baking is addictive!
