Description

These honey glazed chicken wings come out juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Epis seasoning builds a deep savory base, then a warm honey and lemon glaze adds a fresh finish. This baked chicken wings recipe works well for game day, family dinners, or small gatherings. Each bite brings sweet, savory, and bright flavor in balance.

Ingredients

Scale

2 pounds chicken wings, split and tips removed
1 half cup epis seasoning
3 tablespoons lemon oil
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Marinate the wings
Place the chicken wings in a large bowl. Add the epis seasoning. Use your hands to coat each piece well. Cover and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours. For deeper flavor, leave overnight.
  • Preheat the oven
Set the oven to 400°F. Place a wire rack over a baking sheet.
  • Arrange the wings
Lay the wings in a single layer on the rack. Leave space between each piece.
  • Bake the wings
Place the tray in the oven. Cook for 45 minutes. The wings should turn golden and stay tender inside.
  • Make the glaze
In a small bowl, mix lemon oil, honey, and lemon juice. Add salt and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  • Toss and serve
Transfer the hot wings to a clean bowl. Pour the glaze over the wings. Toss until coated. Serve warm.

Notes

  1. For best flavor, marinate overnight.
  2. Do not overcrowd the pan or the wings will not brown well.
  3. Taste the glaze and adjust lemon or honey before using.
