Description

Pasta recipe with smoked salmon

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pack of linguine pasta
  • 1 pack of smoked salmon
  • 1 cup of creme fraiche
  • 1 leek
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • A dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Make sure that the water is boiling before putting the pasta.
  2. Add some salt and a dash of oil the my boiling water to prevent the pasta from sticking together. Once, the pasta is al dente put the pot to the side. You can refer to your pasta package for instructions.
  3. Chop the leek.
  4. Heat your oil on medium heat.
  5. Once the oil is heated, cook your leek until they are soft and the white part is translucid.
  6. Add the creme fraiche to the leeks and season it with salt and pepper.
  7. Use prongs to add the pasta to the sauce.
  8. Coat well the pasta with the sauce.
  9. Add the smoked salmon to the pasta.

Notes

If you realize that you don’t have enough cream for the amount of pasta at hands, you can add some of that pasta water you saved earlier. I usually add 1-2 ladder of the water.
